Movement 01

Understanding Jesus

Relationship

Before anything else, Jesus called his disciples to be with him. Not to perform for him, not to study about him from a distance — but to walk with him, eat with him, watch how he lived. That same invitation stands today. The foundation of the Christian life is not activity but intimacy — a real, ongoing relationship with a living person.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

How to practise this

Being with Jesus is not complicated — but it is countercultural. It requires slowing down, creating space, and choosing presence over productivity. Daily scripture reading, quiet prayer, and Sabbath rest are not religious duties; they are the means by which we stay close to the one who calls us.
