The Great Commission: Everyone a Disciple-Maker
Jesus did not say 'go and make converts.' He said 'go and make disciples.' The difference is everything.
Movement 04
Discipleship
Jesus did not just gather a crowd — he made disciples. He invested deeply in a small group of people and sent them out to do the same. Every follower of Jesus is called to pass on what they have received: to walk alongside others, to share what they are learning, to help someone else take their next step toward Jesus.
"Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Matthew 28:19–20
You do not need a programme or a title to help someone follow Jesus. You need availability, honesty, and a genuine desire to see them grow. Start with one person. Meet regularly. Ask good questions. Share what God is teaching you. Point each other back to Jesus.
Teachings on this movement
Jesus did not say 'go and make converts.' He said 'go and make disciples.' The difference is everything.
Jesus did not disciple people through programmes. He walked with them, ate with them, and let them watch how he lived. That is still the model.
